ok! so the endoscopy went well. i was more alert on this procedure than i thought i was going to be. i can't tell you word for word what my dr. said but i watched the whole thing. i gag/burped a lot :) everything looked good on my scope except for "erythematous duodenopathy". translation = inflammed duodenum. wee! but my stomach and esphagus looked good. the nurse that took over in recovery said i need to see my gi before my next follow up in december regarding the new findings. this brings up a good point, i would like to ask him if i can do a pill cam. i think that makes the most sense at this point. i wonder if all hospitals have pill cams now?

so i showed him my new found hive type things. he was intrigued! he said usually he sees things like i have on stomach and back on peoples legs. he said it is very rare but we will keep an eye on them. he is pretty sure it is crohn's related though. lucky me :)
