I just went to the bathroom and my stools were floating.  I know it's kind of gross but I don't know any other way to explain.  They were a little paler and bubbles floated up from them.  I have had more gas lately and that could explain it but it was strange and I wonder why it's happened now.

Does anyone have any similiar experiences

happens to me if I eat anything fatty or dairy. Think back to what you ate, you may be able to figure the culprit.

Vicky,

I know what you are talking about--the pale, floating poo...!

Many times when people with Crohn's eat fatty foods, the fat passes through partially undigested (looks pale/white colored), and fat floats on water (think of how fat in a can of soup always rises to the top), so it makes your poo float. Happens to me when I eat high-fat foods like fast food or ice cream.

Nothing to be worried about. :)

You should read this link, it talks about floating stool, stool colour and consistancy and what it all actually can indicate.

I have heard from Drs. that floating stools are a good thing. That you are getting enough fiber .
