Well iam going for my LEEP tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone has had this done ,and if so, and word of wisdom?

Sorry Chelsea, I don't know what LEEP is, can you explain it to me?

Dx with Crohn's disease March 2006, currently on bi-weekly Humira, daily 6mg Entocort, daily 2-3x 5mg hydrocodone (for pain), and daily 75mg Effexor, plus 3x per day heavy iron supplements for anemia

sorry It is loop electrical excision procedure, it s to remove pre-cancerous cells from my cervix

Thanks for all the well wishes. Things went pretty well today a little tired and sore though hopefully this is the last biopsy I will need and that it cleared it all up!!!

How did it go? Sorry I didn't see your original post, but it's probably better that I didn't. I know they aren't supposed to hurt too much, but I remember mine was pretty painful, though I did have fistulas at the time, including a recto/vaginal.

So how did it go, and how are you feeling?

Six resection surgeries, permanent ostomy, adverse reactions to Remicadeback on 6MP for maintenance, hoping for a long remission from this last surgery.

I am still in a bit of pain (3 days later) spent most of the weekend in bed. I am at work now trying to ignore it but i don't know how long i will last here today. Thanks again everyone for the well wshes

Hello and I too am sorry I am late.  My daughter has had the procedure and opted to do it in day surgery as her anxiety level shoots up with procedures and it went well.

Gald to hear your procedure is over and I pray your outcome on the biopsies is good news.
