Anyone that has a problem with their butt burning or irritation even though you dont have water diaherra. I could have lose stools or go 5-6 times a day.  Not sure what from.  Almost like a tear or little papercut.  I put the cream and the foam up there seems to help but wondering if this happens to anyone else and what do you do?? It is always worse around my period with the butt being really sore? Any input would be great!! Tricia

Try rinsing after you go. Whenever this happens to me I treat it just like I would treat diaper rash with my kids and it seems to help. Rinse and pat dry (not wipe), put some sort of barrier on the part that is irritated (vaseline or the likes) and try to keep it aired out (hard to do with location). I find that sometimes I can't wear pads during my period because things will get more irriated down there.

Hope that helps.

preperation wipes, cotton underwear (let's things breath) underwear at night and corn starch to keep things dry in hot & humid weather. No pads during period weeks here either. Sometimes I can only tell where the blood is coming from if I wear a tampax though.

Tsora, I have the same problem with burning -- it's awful. I have Anamantle cream from the GI, but what also helps is gentle rinsing without wiping. Use a little squeeze bottle from the drugstore, fill with warm water, then pat dry (don't rub). Powder doesn't work for me, but A&D ointment can help in between the prescription creme doses.

One time I had a rash that went the whole way up my butt crack, it was so painful I could barely walk. I ended up using Tucks medicated pads after each bathroom trip, and vaseline. The A&D didn't seem to do much for me, but I did use it too.
