Morning all
well got my consultation appointment today 10.45am what an effort to get up never got my methotrexate on friday because it was not ordered one minute its there next its not have i got some storys to tell today.
im really getting depressed with this weekly meth injections thats why i wanted to self medicate without the fuss of attending hospitals every friday or not as in my case.
if i am not permitted to self medicate then im going to have to go down the oral route see if that works saying that the injections have prevented me from being admitted to hospital for the first time in 4 years so they are working its just the inconvenience of it all i know intramuscular injections go into your system a lot quicker than oral drugs i can only try i did call pharmacy and they told me you are not permitted to self medicate because the drug is toxic if you are permitted to do it in the us why not the uk this crohns really confuses me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called the hospital at 6.30am this morning as i was going to go up and get my metho i was told we are to busy come up in the afternoon i should be able to go up to hospital when its convenient for me not then have i got a lot to explain this morning ill let you know how i get on for now tc everyone xxxxxxxxxxxx

I know how you feel it is a hassel and very inconvenient as well.back a few years ago I had to go to the hospital every day to get my meds because I simply could not keep my meds down, and about a week of doing this I was ready to throw the towel sort to speak.I am not on methotrexate but when I was I gave my self the shots.I however am on humira and I all so give my self shot's.just hang in there it will get better.take care..............................
