some info on multivitamins from dr. joseph mercola, a big wig in the natural health field. thought this could be interesting to some of you seeing how i've seen questions about multi's on the board. yes, he does pitch his vitamin, but there is some very good info here as well. is his vitamin as good as he says it is? should you be taking it? heck if i know. some one try this and let us all know...

I need to find a good multivitamin that has extra folic acid and B 12 in it... :-)   and maybe some biotin for my hair.. I have others to take I just hate adding more pills to my regimen.

I know I need to remember the folic acid cause my hair falls out if I don't take it but I keep skipping it...

I wish I could tolerate vitamins and supplements.  But they make me so nauseous (even when I take with food) that I have given up.  The only supplement I tolerate is Calcium and of course probiotics.  Even tried the childrens type no luck.  And my B12 shots, but thats because they are shots not oral meds.

Funny thing is I generally have pretty good luck with Crohns meds but not vitamins.  Sigh!!

I can't do chocolate either. I have the sissyest tummy in the world. Folic Acid which is one is the easiest supplements to tolerate makes me violently ill. I have tried them all and have finally just given up trying.

that is too bad Nanners. I get the upset stomach sometimes too. It seems mine gets used to it eventually.

Maybe someone will invent something for sensitive tummies.

I listened to mercola's spiel and read the info. I may be the one buying them to give 'em a try. I'll let you know!

I really think they could be superior vitamins. Ever since we (as a family) started juicing we've never been healthier. If they can replicate that in a vitamin, then I'll be a believer!

Thanks for the link!
