I noticed in your earlier post discussion about MAP that you are considering using Prochymal which is in Phase III.  Would you elaborate a little more about this therapy because I have not run across any information on it.  Thanks so much in advance!

I can answer most questions you might have as I am currently wrapping up in the Prochymal study... The first phase I am convinced I got the real thing and healed 50-60% (per colonoscopy findings) in 28 days. Pretty amazing...  I suppose I should mention that I've failed the ASA-5 drugs, AZA, 6-MP, Pred (taking minor dose of methylpred), Remicade and Humira.

Shan5599-

Thank you for your response and I am glad to hear it has been an alternative for you. However, I still don't understand WHAT type of therapy it is exactly. Someone has mentioned it in a stem cell post as well. Is this therapy/study part of the stem cell research?

broomhilda -- Check http://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=17&m=988095 as I posted a detailed description of the treatment and study there. Basically, it's an infusion of adult mesenchymal stem cells derived from the bone marrow of adult donors.
