Remicade is given IV in a clinic/hosp setting over a 2-3 hr period and humira is a shot that you can give to yourself at home. Both are TNF blockers but remicade is made with mouse protein and humira is made with synthetic protein, similiar to human protein. Most folks like the ease of humira and the convenience of taking it at home, but then there are a lot who have been on remicade for yrs and feeling great. Remicade has been around longer also.
