i know many suffer from joint pain, my questions is, does it come and go? Will I have this forever? It started to come on in August and I still have it. What do you do to relieve the pain? My foot pain(plantar fasciitis) is the worst. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have joint pain from my CD. I've tried some of the arthritis type drugs from my Rhuemy, but I can't tolerate them. They just upset my stomach. I've been seeing an accupuncturist. It does give some relief. I was not a big believer in alternative medicine, so I really didn't think it would work. But, it does help. It is a bit pricey, but depending on how bad the pain is and how often you need to go, it might be worth it.

I started out going several times a week, then once we got things under control, I was able to cut it down to once every few weeks. Now the guy I see has just opened up a new clinic so that he can offer treatment at a lower cost and I can go more often. I am hoping that I can see even more relief. The winter months are always the worst for me. I started treatment last April, so I don't know what to expect from the next few months, but I'm willing to try. At this point, it really is my only option.
