I finally got to see my doctor again today. He was out with a death in the family. He has decided to try and taper me off of the pred again and to refer me to the UCSF Crohn's Colitis Center. Hopefully I will be able to get some answers soon. I do expect to see anyone there until after the first of the year. At least some progress is being made.

I want to thank everyone that has supported me and offered their suggestions. I will keep you posted as to what happens.
Still not diagnosed. Problems since 2003

Current meds:
Prednisone 5mg every other day,
Donnatol 12.5mg as needed for cramping (doesn't help),
Prevacid 30mg daily

Other issues

Injured Right knee with 2 failed surgeries
Herniated disc t11-t12 being treated

I am currently on disability for my knee awaiting retraining.
