Hello everyone.
I had my colonoscopy yesterday.  The procedure went rather well, didnt fall asleep like everyone told me I would do but I certainly wasnt in any discomfort.
I ended up having one polyup that was removed, several non bleeding ulcers in the large intestine, and the place where the small intestine ends is almost completely closed shut from inflamation (she couldnt get the scope through at all) and is bleeding.  It wasnt exactly what I expected to hear.  the CT scan had remarked it as being mild and it ends up being pretty severe.
Was put on predisone for 3 weeks and then will start an antiinflamatory to be on daily to make sure it doesnt come back.  I go back to the Dr in 3 weeks.
Whew, this is all just alot of news for me...trying to get my mind around it all.

Just thought i would let you all know how it went

Mine was the same way (he couldn't get past the inflammation where the small intestines ends), but the doctor said it didn't look as bad as it has looked in the past. When he got to that point, I woke up screaming because of the pain.

Then, I had a CT scan, and it showed how bad it really was. Isn't it weird how certain tests show things differently? I am off the pred. and started Humira on Monday.

Good luck!
