Hey all! Well I finally got a picture taken of my scar as of today, and it looks pretty glorious if you ask me. Just take note of the scar above it...its from when I had my spleen and gallbladder out when I was 6. It's so weird having a second scar, and my surgeon overlapped the two so I literally have a 9 inch scar down my stomach..whew!

Diagnosed: 2003, age 18 (had issues with it since I was 12)
Meds for crohns: Off all meds for 1 month until I heal. Still on 10mg Prednisone, and 20mg Oxycodone every 3 hours, and Oxycontin 5mg every 12 hours.
Other medical issues: Hereditary Spherocytosis (hemolytic anemia) iron deficient anemia, polyarthralgia, ovarian cysts, Migraines
Surgeries: Spleen and gallbladder out at age 6, Tonsils and Adenoids out at age 21. Ileocecal (small bowel) resection on December 13th. Appendectomy during small bowel resection

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

Pentasa 500mg/8x daily; Entocort 3mg/3x daily; Percocet/Ultram for pain; Protonix 40mg
Neurontin, 900mg/daily
Bentyl for cramping-3x/10mg
Ferrous Sulfate 325mg/daily for anemia
Azathioprine 150mg
Caltrate 2x/day
Currently on a Low-residue diet as of 11/26

Reminds me of my csection scar with the staples, but going the other way. :) Btw, cool sea world pics. :)

I wish I could see it but I am not a registered user of facebook. My scar is 2 1/2 months old now and look nice I guess for a scar. My dr was amazing - but I still feel like a gutted fish LOL
