I am just recovering from having surgery 4 weeks ago.I had a hysterectomy and a double bowel resection to remove 2 fistulas and a bowel obstruction.Have been feeling great apart from having 2 open wounds ,but the last day or so i have had this burning 'pulling pain in my stomach.I think it is only wind pain because it is not there continously, and if i pass wind or go to the toilet the pain eases.I am also taking antibiotics which i think may not be helping.Has anyone experienced this as i am starting to worry.

You can get all kinds of aches and pains while you're still healing. Just keep an eye on things, if it gets worse or doesn't go away then a call to your surgeon is in order. Do you have a nurse visiting for the wounds? If so you can get his/her opinion.
