Hi there Lau,
I don't know what to suggest. I have a friend with CF, and I've just recently mentioned to him-to try choc mixed into mash. I didn't think he'd actually go and eat the stuff!
He's on feeds and shakes, yet somehow it's the choc mash that's making him finally put on weight. But, I think that's because it actually making him eat more.
I don't suggest you do this though-for the obvious reason of it being gross!
I've never had feeds, but know people on them, who have never regretted the decision. They don't appeal to me, but then my weights in the ok range now, so hopefully I shouldn't have to try it anytime soon. I'm happy enough with my Skandishakes and Fresubin shakes for now:P
Megace is used a lot here in the UK, it's a tablet that like steroids, makes you really hungry, just without all the nasty side effects. I don't know whether it's used as widely outside the UK, but it wouldn't hurt to ask your doc. Plus, it could save you having to have feeds.
Sorry can't be more helpful-I really struggle when my weights dropping, to stop it from just plummeting. In usually means I force feed myself greasy food-which is horrible to do, as it leaves me feeling so sick. But it's worked for me over the years, though not so much anymore.
