Carrie,

The nutritionist at the CF Center where you go, does she have some ideas for you? You know you can always call on her anytime.

Our nutritionist has us using as a calorie booster, carnation instant breakfast....now, it might can be modified.

I also have a child with CF and a milk allergy. We get her plenty of soy yogurt and enhanced soy milk with extra calories. If you need any other help let me know.

How old is your daughter? And what kind of reaction does she have when she drinks milk or something with milk in it? My son is two years old. He breaks out and before has even had trouble breathing...never bad enough that benadrly didn't work though. Does the soy milk not make her go to the bathroom more? We tried Bright Beginnings Pediatric Soy Milk and it made him poop a whole lot more. So he is still on a formula called Elecare. We also gave him rice milk which he likes but it just dosn't have enough calories in it. Where do you buy the soy yogourt? He might like that...it would be worth a try. If you would like to email me at carlisle6@centurytel.net you can. Thanks for your reply.
