I was supposed to do the fecal fat test a few months ago.  Has anyone had to do this?

Hello Nancygirl.  My son had to do a fecal fat test last fall. It was no biggie.  His was a 72 hour collection and his results came back normal so he is pancreatic sufficiant although his Doc. still put him on a low dosage of enzymes.

He had a big plastic container to store the stools in and had a half moon collection thingy that sat under the toilet seat to catch it in.

We kept the container in the fridge.
