I am taking 90 mg of Effexor and it does help with my depression and anxiety, but I notice that it changes my cycle - is it normal for these drugs to interfere with hormones etc.???

I am hoping that other members respond to this asap..I have not heard of that. But,I bet it is possible considering you are putting a drug in your body.

Why don't you make a quick call to your doctor,or even the pharmacy and see what they say..

Hi Joc,

I take 375 mg of effexor each day. I am not regular, but I never really was. I am sorry that I am not much help. I have been taking it for a long time, so it is hard to say.

Wanted to say hello. I hope that you are doing well.

I can tell you of my personal exp with Effexor. I was taking 300mg daily and it did not interfere with my cycle. Everyone is different though so as Shy says you can ask the pharmacist or look it up on the web.

Good luck.
