Today I went to my first appointment with a psycologist. She seems very nice. I thougt we would be discussing how to handle my illness but we ended up discussing things that have happened in the past and she thinks I definately I have depression and I may have post traumatic stress syndrome. confused Reliving that bad time in my life has left me emotionally drained and confused.

I have cried so much lately that my eyes are swollen.
She gave me the BSFF treatment protocol to read over and try. You have to use a "cue" word and tap your temple. I am not sure what to think of this. Has any one ever heard of this technique? Has it worked for you?

Any feed back would be appreciated

Hi ET,

I have never heard of this, is it new? It sounds interesting and I could see where it would work. It would kind of bring you back into the now as we need to be.

Good luck with the therapy. I hope that it works for you.

Hugs,
Karen

They have so many different types of therapy... if it doesn't work then hopefully she will move on to something else for you.

I know that talking about your past is hard, but you need to be able to deal with it to get better as we know.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Good Morning Everyone, This is Kitt.

BE SET FREE FAST (BSFF) is a highly focused Energy Therapy method for eliminating the emotional roots and self-limiting belief systems that are embedded in the subconscious mind, and which automatically determine and control most of our experience, self-expression and behavior.

Please let us know how this therapy works as we will all be hoping it is successful.  Keep posting here for support and we will listen to you.

Christy, I am so glad to hear that you will try a new type of therapy. I too am trying another called EMDR therapy. I have had great results with it in dealing with sexual abuse as a child. I no longer cringe and get sick to the stomach when the thought passes through my mind. Next we will work on stop smoking.....wish me luck!! The best to you!!!

Hi Kathy,

Good luck on stopping smoking, I hope this works for you,. Could you explain a little about this type of therapy? I need to quit smoking too, have tried chantix, but I think I messed it up by not trying hard enough. I wonder if your therapy would work for me. I truly need to be smoke free.

Thanks, hugs, Karen
