smurf I had a horrible day today. After noy sleeping all night I went to bed at 12:30 pm. I was feeling very hopeless and its always worse when I am tired -as with all symtoms. Since I dont have any sleeping pills I am sometimes up 24 hours or more.
Well after 2 hours of sleep my boyfriend came in and yelled at me: " the ho***er tank has burst, ring the landlord!!"
my boyfriend is very dependant on me in things that have to do with the house and household. He had two brain homorrages in his life and suffers therefore from epilepsy and double vision, bad concentration and short and longterm memory loss.
So I half asleep ring the landlord... at this point the water in the flat was 2 inches high...
After ringing him I went to look at the damage and found the after another few mins the sopt where to turn off the water supply.
At this point the water was 2 inches in the hallway, the bathroom, the sittingroom and the kitchen.
Thanks god we have tiled floor except in the bedrooms.
My boyfriend started yelling at me to clean up the water....Haha me cleaning with my post OP back. Well after 2 hours we had the place somewhat dry. My back was in agony and I had to cancel my GPs appointment. Then the plumber came and excanged the tank.
At that pointmy boyfriend started "I am hungry can you go shopping!" I was so exsusted! Eventually he went but not happy....
So after going to bed at 8pm and sleeping till 4 am thanks god I am awake again...Feeling a little better.
Thanks for listening.
Rant over!!!!!
I wish you all a wonderfull day!

Im not sure why hot water tank has been *'ed out... I spent ages trying to work it out! lol

Im glad that you got the tank changed so quickly... things like that dont happen in the UK! lol Is there much damage in the house? Have you lost much? How is your b/f? I am epileptic myself and know only too well that stress is a trigger for seizures and having your house flood cos the hot water tank has gone is pretty stressful

Oh good grief...why is it that things seem to break when we are either sleeping or not at home?

I love the "at least the apartment is clean now" LOL ..that is what I would be thinking too!!

You seem to have your hands full.. I really think you should get yourself into the doctor and talk to them about
not sleeping.. you have to get your rest and be able to focus on the day..that is not healthy at all.

I know why they took out part of the word in hot water heater. I put the word wrist watch. Only had it in one word and they did the same thing. I think it has to do with t w a t. Which is a bad word, but not in the sense we used it. It is kind of funny. LOL.

I am so sorry Sun for what you had to go through last night. I hope that your new hot water heater works well for you. It sounds like a very stressful night. And I, like Shy, like what you said about the clean floor. That is a good way to liik at it.

I wish you a better day,
Luv and hugs, Karen
