I will start...........tonight I went out of my house and spent the evening with my family to celebrate my granddaughter's 17th birthday.  I laughed and I felt good, no worries, no anxiety. I stayed in the moment and I had fun.  For me that was good stuff.

I recently bought a hat that will display my love for Pugs and protect me from the sun... :)... I just have to wait for it to come in the mail. *Is excited about that*

Oh... and I'm trying out a new recipe... which is fun! It may or may not turn out right... but that doesn't matter. The important thing is trying... :)

Ummm... Oh! And I didn't get hit by a tornado today (they came pretty close a couple of times, but thankfully, they missed)! That's always a plus... :)...
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

Great job Celey, thanks...........Come on all join in, celebrate the good stuff, and share with us.

I am finally going to get my hair cut this morning.........one side is longer then the other and I am getting a crook in my neck from hold it sideways so both sides look the same devil

The sun is shining and we did not get hit by the hail or tornadoes either but a town a bit north of us did 2 weeks ago.

Good Stuff...............I am collecting mine in a basket.

Hugs
Kitt

We had tornado warnings all around us yesterday, nothing hit here. That is good stuff.

It is warm today and breezy, I love it. Not too hot and not too humid. The breeze coming through the window is nice.

Oh I won 50.00 on a lottery ticket yesterday too. Really good stuff.

I love my dogs and they are so loving to me. Happy thoughts.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Luv and hugs, Karen...

Sky,

That is wonderful, I play too, but not that well. I had somebody put new strings on mine and they rusted. I think that they were a poor quality of strings. Plus I couldn't build up the callosses to play. My fingers hurt so bad. But plan to get new strings and put them on myself. I am so glad that you are playing again. I love the sound of a guitar.

Hugs, Karen...

The recipe I tried last night... It was kind of funny because I didn't have all the ingredients (some of them had gone bad)... So, I had to kind of just... improvise! But things still turned out good... :)... Well... 'cept for the last bit that I made... but that was more due to the fact that I should've oiled the pan a little before I put the stuff on there... But ahh well... :)

The tastiness is the important thing... :)

I had a really great Saturday.  One of the best days of my life.  My sons got tickets to Jersey Boys and we went into the city, had lunch at a great place, went to the Matinee - the show is one of the best musicals I have ever seen. ( I was a teenager when Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons were popular and listened to their music with my friends so it was very meaningful for me.)  Then we went to RL, Ralph Lauren's restaurant and had a fabulous dinner.  It was my Xmas present from my boys and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful sons who thought to give me such a truly fabulous present.

I know we all may suffer some hard times but someone told me that life is what happens when you are making plans.  So we can't always control what happens from day to day but we can have some very good times too.  And even small pleasures can mean a lot.

I actually managed to get my bull headed superior to agree with me on something that needed to be done on Tuesday. I'd been trying to get him to realize that for at least 2 months, possibly 3. I was walking on air that day. Wednesday, I finally found a pair of jeans in a style that looks good on me but I can only find once overy 10 years or so. They were $5 each. I cleaned the store out of them in my size. Today, I managed to just siddown and relax for a while.

I have alot of good things going on..... my son graduated, and that was quite a long road with him.

My daughter listened to me this weekend and broke up with the loser guy she was dating.

My lazy boss's last day was Friday,so now I hope we will get someone that actually cares about the job.

B/f has realized that he needs to start looking at rings,4 years is a long time.

Daughter came to our house this weekend, and we are having a great time. I can't believe she will be 21 in a few months,it has been a blast having girl's time.

We went out to a park that had a band on Friday, and it took us 3 hours to get ready, changing outfits, doing our hair ect..... I really needed that!!!!

I don't know how to put this, cause I dont want you all to think that I am a gambler. But Hubby and I decided to go to the casino last night. It was hot and muggy and we wanted to get out of the house. He hit for 700.00 and I hit for 350.00. Though we didn't take it all home, but it was fun entertainment and we come out ahead. Please don't think that I am money oriented. I am not. The really nice thing today is I have a nice breeze coming in the house. It feels so good right now while I am typing. I honestly love the simple pleasures, but just had to tell my good news. Hope that you all understand me. Like I say I am not a money hungry person, but a little extra doesnt' hurt.

Luv and hugs, Karen...

Thanks Shy,

I do appreciated the little things too. Like I said a nice breeze, nature, watching plants grow from seeds. I have been working in my greenhouse lately. Potting up some basket arrangements out of some flowers that I bought. I love flowers and plants.

Have a good day,
Luv and hugs, Karen...

Holy Moely Battman, these people have a ton of good stuff.  Aurora, Jersey Boys. I am so jealous.  They were here already but I am hoping to see them maybe in Las Vegas.

Casinos.........love them and I have many good memories of my dughter and I in Vegas. Love the shows and the bright ligts, you can just feel the pulse of the city.

Quiet time, down time just for you, so precious.  Great one.

All great ones.  yeah yeah yeah tongue eyes   cool

My good stuff was my friend going to the pharmacy and picking up my meds to deliver to my home.  I got sick last night and no one home to go so she went for me.  The best part, she thanked me for asking her as it made her feel needed. Now that is good stuff too.

Keep it up and we will soon have the good stuff equaling the not so good here in depression.

Love to each of you
Kitt

Hi Sheryl,

That sounds good, burgers...

We had bratsworst with cottage cheese and baked beans. It must be that time of the season. We wanted them outside on the grill, but it is raining. Though we always need rain, it dries out fast here. But everything is so fresh and pretty outside. Really green and plush.

Have a great day
hugs, Karen

Everything pretty green here too, just hope it stays that way, we really do need the rain, we have small chances of it through the week, and a bigger chance on the weekend, I dont care if a weekend, as long as we get it.

Tis the time of year to start to hear lots of vacation and graduation stories.

We opened our family cabin last weekend and got the boat in the water. We are late this year due to cold weather but it is now or never.  Our cabin is in Wisconsin and about 100 miles from our home.  Just a nice distance.

I am looking forward to bugers on the grill and samores with marshmallow all over my face.

I love to watch the kids fish and they are so excited over a minnow.

The lazy hazy days of summer.  Slow down everyone and take time for family and friends.

Share the good stuff.

Love

Kitt

I am thankful for every day I can make a difference in the lives of others.
