Checking in with this forum, I havent been feeling well. I know the first few days I tell myself its going to pass just like always, but it has been progressively worse for around 2 weeks now. I figure its the stress from school, studying, family, friends, relationship, sleep(mostly lack of), etc... I have been having the whole not-interested-in-anything-anymore feelings, not wanting to do anything anymore, just want to sleep, dont care kind of thoughts. Plus some disturbing thoughts, those of which scare me like before. Im really not sure what Im supposed to do. Im hoping its gonna pass...well last time it lasted a year...but after that I had some bad days here and there...but normally that only lasts a few days...

So... right now I should be studying for a test tomorrow... procrastination. I really dont want to. Im quite sick of school at this point! And studying. I study 24-7... But anyways, I can force myself to study, but I cant force myself to feel better. Im just sick of everything at this point.

HI Christi,

It sounds like you are getting a little burned out with school and all. Do you have to go all throughout the summer? I hope that you can get a break in between.

Just remember that we are all here for you and take advantage of the board. We are more than happy to listen and give advice as we can.

I think that you need some time for yourself at this point. Take a day and take a break from it all. Take a ride on your dirtbike or a walk in the woods. Carry no cell phone or laptop. Just relax. Hopefully that will free up your mind. If that doesn't sound good, take a trip to the mall with your friends or alone and you will probably run into some friends. Anything to take your mind off of all the studying for awhile. You need a break my dear! You have really been pushing yourself hard.

I hope that this helps some. And remember you can always email me if you need to vent more.

Luv and hugs,
Karen...

Oh, how I know those feelings! Is your summer class all summer long? As Karen said, it may be nice to take some time away from the studying. Maybe you could take all of Saturday off and just study on Sunday?

The end of my class is next Friday...July is up in the air right now. My parents want me to get a job and I will still be doing the volunteer thing at the hospital but thats it. Thats my summer break! I havent been studying on Saturdays...Last Saturday I had the ACT, and the one before that the SATs! So, I had to get up extra early and rush so I could go rack my brain! Tomorrow is going to be my first Saturday off this summer! I wont sleep in probably because I have been waking up early now that I am used to it, even though I hate it!

Well, I need to study before I head to school, I have a big test today...

Thanks

Good luck with your test--don't stress too much! Ugh, I never understood why standardized tests had to be soooooo early in the morning! I remember I would get up at around 4 to do last minute cramming.

hi there, did you know its been proven in research that teenagers need more sleep so i wouldnt give yerself ahard time about that.but your studying too hard you should leave the swatting well alone at least 24 hours before because its also been researched that  nothing will go in and stay if you do .all your doing is burning yourself out.this wont last forever see it as a means to an end and will soon be over then you can get on with the rest of your life.take care tigereye/

hi, its me again ill have to stop forgetting what to write.you also need some time off to have some me time ,get out the house,go for  awalk ,see a pal, someone who is good to you and treats you well, this is a start to perking up your mood.the more negative your thoughts are ie,i havnt swatted enough so ill do more, then you get stressed and your mood goes down.its a vicious circle.all you can do is your best.take it easy, tigereye.

Well, I think I did ok on it... Our tests are essays so... But, we get a list of things to look up right, but on our test he gives us 6 to choose from and we write about it... so to study I highlight them first in my book, then go back and write a paragraph about each one, I found about 20/27..and I wrote 16 paragraphs... Luckily, I knew the ones on the test so! Hopefully I did well...I was up til 1:30 last night...woke up at 9:30 and got dressed in 5 minutes and studied until 11! At this point, I figure I have done enough! I wont know what I made until Monday. But, I have another test Monday and a paper due on Tuesday and a Final on Friday! Yay me! But, good news, the class ends Friday! Then, I have July off, until I find a job of course =[

Well, Im taking a break, Im going to lay in bed and watch tv because I havebt gotten to do that in a while! Thanks
