Hey there,

Hope you are ok and that the car business gets settled soon.  I understand how frustrating car issues can be.  Take care and post when you can.

Hugs

Hi everyone,
I am sad to report that I have become severly depressed and questioning things in my life.  The car thing has really gotten me down and it seems as if there is no end to this, I just understand why noone is listening to my pleas.  I have decided that this issue will be settled before the end of this month!! One way or another!!
Today is equally depressing for me because of a birthday that once again will come and go without me.  As a married man I am sure that it will be spent happily with his wife.

My faith is dwindling and I feel as if there is no great outcome for anything, personal life, finances and just day to day life period.

Well I am going to go now because once again I am at the library because I have no computer or money to get a new one, the story of my life!!

I hope everyone is doing ok.  I have not read the posts because I am so depressed and feel that I cannot offer any insight right now, just want you to know that doesnt mean I dont think about you guys everyday.

You are great friends.

Dear Teresa,

I am so sorry your so depressed, but sweetie you are a unique and wonderful individual and continuing to feel like your worthless without him is just not true.

He moved on and you are stuck in a time warp.  I have been in a time warp twice for other reasons but I finally decided that life is to short and way to good to remain stuck.

Instead of focusing on doom, stay in the moment. Give yourself breathing space. Consider what matters to you. Establish a few manageable goals, then take small steps toward achieving them.

Depression can be like a tremendous weight, keeping you down so you don't want to function. Sometimes, it's a constant battle with oneself to get up, get ready and get dressed every day. Life has a way of piling stuff on us, and it is our job to un-freeze our bodies and keep going during even the most difficult of times. Don't give up on yourself for having depression, it is possible to increase your energy and drive. It just takes finding out what solutions work best for you specifically.

I am just excited that you go out and go to the library............that is a huge step as many people cannot get out of their houses.

Do not let your ex define who you are, so he is gone and that has really crushed you but let's get out the super glue and make your stronger and learn to love youself.

We are here and we care, so let the pain in and then let it back out again.  Stay in the moment.  You cannot change yesterday and tommorow will be here soon enough so stay in the moment of today.

Feel the sun on your face and accept that you are a wonderful person.

Gentle Hugs

Kitt

Kitt is right Teresa,

You are a special individual and by taking life one day at a time and staying in the moment, the memories can't haunt you anymore. It is time to get on with life now. You can do this, and we are here to help you along.

How are your neighbors doing? The one that you helped a while back. Are you still seeing your friend that you had dinner with? Keep focusing on the present and the rest will fall into place for you.

Take care
It was good to be able to read your post. Try to get to the library more often so we can converse with you.

Love and hugs, Karen

Teresa,
I am SO sorry how things are going right now for you. Sometimes the world seems to close in with so many not great things. When there is so much out of sorts, it is easy to get overwhelmed.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the feedback.  Yes I am gradually getting over the things that once haunted my life as I knew it, I guess you could say I have finally excepted the fact that I am no longer existent in his world, I am still having problems with songs, places and just really simple things that were so important to me.

My neighbor is good, he got out of the hospital about 4 days ago.  My yard keeps  me busy and I have been working with several people about my car.  I want to tell you guys something wonderful that did happen to me today....
I had sent out several of letters to my political figures last week.  I did receive a phone call for information to one of our senators, BUT...this morning I received a personal phone call from our state representative!!!!!!!  I really feel honored that he personally is taking out of his "election year" duties to hear me.  I will let you know the outcome.  My computer is still on the fritz and I dont know if I will be able to save it.

I miss talking with you guys so keep me in your prayers.
Teresa

Oh Teresa,

It sounds like things are going good for you right now and I truly hope that things continue to get better.

It is so cool that you got to talk to a state rep. I bet that really makes you feel so good! I am so excited for you Teresa. Keep up the good work.

Luv and hugs, Karen
