I know maybe some of you here Hve heard of Yoga. I have been doing it now for about two months. If I have it completely quiet and focus on breathing while i work out I feel relief, calmer, feel just overall good. I think this may be the ticket to me getting better. I am not flying off the handle when I do yoga. It almost feels like the anger is out of me and all I have is calmness and patience and love. I know it sounds weird but a lot of the time I feel like i am a stranger to my feelings and my body. When i do yoga I feel connected to my body and feel great overall. So this seems to help. If I can do this then I may be alright.

whoo hooooooooo,   I am so happy for you.  Yoga and mental health are closely interrelated. Persons practicing Yoga experience tremendous changes that result in a deep effect on their mental health. Reduction of tension and restoration of flexibility are some of the mental health benefits derived from Yoga. Yoga helps in freeing the mind from mental disturbances. Yoga also steadies the mind.

I think you have found what works for you. Congratulations and keep it up.

Proud of you.

Thats fantastic news. Yoga is such a good form of exercise as well as having meditative properties. You can use it to help control your moods better and also combat the weight gain that many people get with AD's so its a great idea all round. I hope it carries on working for you.

Everyone has a guardian angel. They help pick you up when you fall, comfort you through your times of need and help you appreciate the times when things are going well.

Well, that is true.  Yoga is a good tool, especially learning the concept of and practicing mind over matter.

However, I do want to mention here that the member at the top of this thread said something about how it ALMOST heals the anger.  Well yeilding to Jesus doesn't ALMOST anything, Jesus is EVERYTHING!
