Here I am plugging along thinking all is well, meds are working, and I really am facing live in a positive way and boom, something will come and trigger a major downward spiral. Fortunately, I have learned to recognize the warning signs in advance and contacted my doctor and therapist to get things tweaked. After a wholesale change in meds I am beginning to feel alive again and hopeless, loneliness is all but gone. I guess I am saying, never give up, seek the help needed when you need it, and know that there will be ups and downs just as with everyone else in life. With the proper help, I know I can face these changes with the highs being better and the lows being shallower.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

Hi Randy

You are right, the disease is amazing... it comes and goes, you think you have it beat one day,the next it just sneaks up on you.

I wish we could find a magic pill that would take it away forever.. kudos to you for knowing the signs and doing something about it right away.

Please remember,I am not a professional..I am just a person who is also fighting depression.

I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok. They know me here.
