how to stop the pain

I don't know why but I am suddenly feeling like it is time for action.  I am so tiredof feling depressed and anxious.  my stomach has been in KNots and my chest tight for too long.  Itis either make a change or sink to far down.  I am hoping this feeling will last long enough to make some progress.  I am calling a dr on monday.  I need some  outside help.  I am not sure what they can do since my problems are illogical but maybe some meds could make them stop being in my head 24/7    I am going to start exercising . I have put on my sneakers and heading to my threadmill.  my stomach is so funky feeling I don't know how much I will do but I need to start back today and push myself each mornign to do it.  I did always feel better when I ran 3-5 miles before work. I need to do that again.  Slow and stedy
 
Any one have any other suggestions of change.  I won't get to see a dr probably for a few weeks.. Should I see an MD or a psychologist

Good Morning,

I love your determination but please go slow, it will all add up in the end.  And if you fall down, get back up and keep on going.  I would make an appointment with your PCP first to get a good check up and then you can talk with him/her about where to go next...............you physician should be able to help you get into therapy.  If you need meds you need a MD to prescribe. 

Just to reiterate, instead of focusing on doom, stay in the moment. Give yourself breathing space. Consider what matters to you. Establish a few manageable goals, then take small steps toward achieving them.

For a fresh perspective, get a good night's sleep.
