Had a virus for last couple of days, so now need some major pampering, as I'm having too miss out on going out anywhere today and tomorrow, not well enough to do volunteer work sad

Just had a bath, painted my nails, put on a face mask-now just watching TV and generally chilling while eating plenty and drinking loads of water. Feeling much better!

How do you cheer yourself and make yourself feel better, after a few days of been completely exhausted or just feeling down?

Wonderful thread Gem,

I was thinking of something like this, but you beat me to it>LOL...

For me, I like to listen to music, play in my greenhouse and go for walks.

I like this thread, I think that we all should think about the things that make us feel good. Keeps the mind happy.

I wish that I was better at self nurturing as you are. It seems to be the last thing that I do.

I wish for you a wonderful day Gems. I think that this thread was a good idea.

luv and hugs, Karen

You will love this Gems,  I wash my hair.  I have always had this phobia if I start to let myself go I oculd easily give up so I wash my hair and then I feel I am still in the human race.

If you were here I might let you experiment with my hair.............hee hee, Granny Kitt with purple hair and pink striped...............whooooo hooooooooo.

Hugs to you
Kitt

Oh Granny Kitt, I'd love too do your hair:) If I ever manage too get to the states again..........Beware lol!

Washing your hair is definately a good way too feel good though. Makes you feel all clean and fresh and smelling pretty.

Haha think the only reason I'm any good at self-nuture Karen, is I get bored so easily. I have too keep thinking of things too do and keep me busy and feeling good. I think it's why when I do go on a major low, it doesn't last for that long, and I only throw tantrums really now when I'm stopped from doing something I enjoy.

Hugs and love too you both

Self nurture seems to be the last thing that I do for myself, and I know that it would make me feel a whole lot better. I don't even like going clothes shopping let alone getting my hair and nails done. But I know if I did that, I would feel a whole lot better about myself.

I am glad that you do take the time to make yourself feel good. It is so important for us, especially women.

Have a great day,
hugs, Karen...
