Hi all, it's Chad again. I am at my wits end. My life is going to Hell and I don't care. I'm stuck on my path with God and am confused about what's real anymore! Please reply ASAP! I desperatly need your advice! I tried turning to The Bible, but I can't focus on God's Word in my current state.

Chad,

I am so sorry your having problems with your faith and I am a bit stuck on how to respond.  Might I suggest you talk with your minister or priest or look into a group bible study which would help you interpret the passages in the bible especially in translation.

Don't gve up on your faith, but so think about taking some time to let your brain rest when you get confused. Just let go off the problem and come back to it later.

Be kind to yourself.

Bless you
Kitt

Chad,
Do you mind if I email you? I'm not sure I can say everything I would like to on here due to the religion rule. Just to let you know, I am right there with you. I have many older Christians helping me on my journey so hopefully I can help you too.

HI Chad,

When I was really young somebody gave me this keychain and it said "believe onto the Lord and you shall have eternal life". I never really studied the bible, though I did go to Sunday school when I was little.

I learned about believing and having faith. Also about treating others the way you would like to be treated. I still believe to this day and do my best to have faith, though that can be hard at times, never give up hope. I try to be good to all of God's creatures, including human beings. So that is sort of a guidline that I go by. And believe me that it really helps.

I think that you have been given some good advice here from the other members and I know that their replies are sincere. So just keep trying. And remember that we are here for you.

hugs, Karen

Hello Chad

I am sorry you are feeling so down and confused about your faith. I am 3 times your age and Chad I get confused too about mine. Very recently I hardly believed what I used to believe in after being a Christian since I was ten. I had all these doubts about God and even wondered if he existed. I think because we are sensitive people these things happen. I pray still even when i feel like that. I read my Bible and other Christian books to help me. And guess what I still feel confused. It will pass, I know it has to. You will be OK..the feelings will come but just tell Him how you feel.

Its ok not reading if you feel confused. Maybe talk to your pastor or a friend who has the same religion as you do. Religion or not Chad feeling down and confused is a big part of our depression.. I dont know if you take meds but talk to your doc about that too.

I am rooting for you Chad and I know all the others here care too.

Take care and here is a BIG ((((((Chad))))))) for you.

Do you want to talk about things? There are many kind and compassionate people here that would love to listen. We have chat time on Tuesday too. I didn't know if you were aware of that or not. It is fun...

I am sure that if we are both on at the time, we could use an empty room to chat in. I don't know what PM is, is it like IM? Either way I will do my best to be there. We will work something out.

Hugs, Karen...

PS How is your german shepard? Mine is fat and sassy. She is almost nine years old, still acts like a pup most of the time. But she tries to run the show all of the time. Do you watch the dog whisperer? That is my favorite show. I love it.

My dog has to always be in the center of attention. She acts a little agressive at times, but is wonderful with children. Adults, forget it.LOL

he is half coyote.almost 9. he is absolutely the dumbest dog ever. he chases anything that I throw. However, he also is the bestest puppy I could ask for! whenever I felt really bad, I would pet him and he'd make me feel all warm and carefree inside! That was before I moved away from him... I don't have my fluffy athletic puppy anymore!

I am sorry you don't have him anymore. That is awful. I don't know what I would do without mine. Even though she is a pain in the butt. I have another dog too. She is part pittbull and part australian cattledog. She is brindle. I love her too. Her name is Chance and my shepard is Charming Lady Dharma. I call her Dharma. And brat.LOL>...

I hope that you have a nice day.

luv and hugs, Karen...
