Hi All,
I just found this site by posting a question about anti-depressants. I have read some of the posts and you all seem so caring and friendly and I could use people like that right now. My name is Roxanne and I have been married for 16 yrs and have one son who is 15. I live in Va and from the outside people would say I have a pretty good life. I just don't feel that way and it makes me feel guilty like I am not greatful for what I have. Well just wanted to introduce myself and now I will go post exactly how I have been feeling. confused

sorry this didn't go in the introductions posts. I hit the wrong thing. Is there a way to get this into that folder?

Welcome Roxy!!!! I'm Westcoast Joe and I too have a good life , but can't seem to feel good right now. I had a lot of operations in the last year. I'm happy to be alive, but for some reason depressed everyday. I used to love to fish and play hockey. Now all I want to do is walk in the garden and trim roses. Are you taking anything? Are you seeing anyone? Hope you feel better. Westy

I just wanted to add that you shouldn't feel guilty for not feeling well. Depression is hard to deal with. We will do the best we can to give you advice and information that we know of. A lot of us have experienced a lot of the things that you are probably experiencing. Though we must advise you go get professional help also. Keep posting, we are here for you.

Hugs, Karen...

Good Morning Roxy,

Just wondering how your day is going and hoping you will feel comfortable talking with us here in the forum.  We love new members so please post when you are comfortable.

Guilt is a wasted emotion so drop kick that one to the curb. No one asks for Depression, and we are all in the same boat just on different oceans.

Hugs
Kitt

Hi Westy, I am taking Effexor XR 37.5 mg I was on higher but it just made me tired and no motivation. I was seeing someone but they were not helping and I have seen to many that just wait for their watch to hit that 45 min mark before they say thats it and don't help you at all. So right now I am not looking to find someone. Thanks for your post.
