This morning I got up fairly early and I took my dogs for a walk.  It was a beautiful morning, not too hot, not too cold, just right.  I felt so good when I got done, and it gave me energy for the rest of the day.

I was wondering if anybody would be interested in posting something positive that happened each day?  It doesn't have to be anything super fantastic.  Even if it is just okay.  Just something positive.

Let's see how long we can get this thread...

I think that if we can all focus on positive aspects of our lives, that it will get our overall way of thinking to be better.  Like I said, it doesn't have to be anything super fantastic.  Even just something that didn't go wrong.  If you have any inspiring poetry or even a story from the past.  Anything would be fantastic.

Hugs, ...Karen

Good idea Karen :)

I started my Pharmacology class today... I am entering the Health Information Management program at the college here after I decided I didn't want to be a nurse, and I just need to take pharmacology and medical terminology before I'm officially in. The class is online so I'm a little nervous since I've never taken an online course before but I'm excited.

Hello All,

Today my sister is so much better !  She worked with PT and may be able to go to an Adult "Ronald Mc Donalded House" for the next 9 weeks for her chemo. It is only 10 blocks from the hospital and the hospital shuttle will pick her up to bring her to the outpatient clinic for the chemo.  Her daughter can stay with her at this wonderful facility.  There is no charge for either of them.

Prays truly are answered if we believe.

Hugs

Kitt

I have just been given a new project at work which is really interesting to me. I'm excited about getting stuck in to it - its something which is about a months worth of work so I'll be doing it for a while!

Hello,
Yesterday I believe I saved my friends life. She had made threats about herself and luckily I decided I was going to tell you counselor. I showed him our notes we had been passing in class(teacher doesnt pay any attention!) Anyways, he told the principal, and they called her parents, yikes! But, she thanked me last night for doing what I did, and she seemed happier today. (btw, they are taking her to a psychiatrist) So, hopefully she will get better!

Hmm... My art teacher asks us everyday what is good about today. Well, I woke up! My car started! I went to school! I helped a bunch of people! My drawings in art class are really good! (Im so excited about the class!) I didnt fall in a mud puddle!(its raining, I dont like rain lol) I made it home okay! No HOMEWORK! Thats always a plus! Oh, and my German class is coming along pretty good! I can actually speak some!! Oh, and this pudding Im eating tastes really good! lol

I think thats enough about my day. Overall Im blessed to have had it and I try my best to recognize the little things. =]

That is awesome and was the right thing to do.  Sometimes it is hard to make a decision like that but you weighed the odds and chose to do what was best for your friend.
I am  very proud of you.

Christi,

I am so proud of you, (as always). This was a hard thing to do and you did the right thing. And I can see she was happy that you did it. You will be so truly blessed.

I am having a hard time finding something good today. I didn't get any sleep last night. Had to go to mediation over a credit card debt this morning. My dog keeps chewing herself and chewed a hole in her leg last night.

But my husband found a special collar so that she can't chew. And they gave us about 20 samples of natural dog foods to try. Also got some stuff for my dog to quit itching and it tastes bad to dogs. So that is my good news. Wish me luck.

Hugs, Karen...

I went to Wal-Mart and survived. It was difficult, but I did it. My roommate said she was proud of me. That was the good in my day. Oh, and my kitten won't leave me alone, another good thing, lol.

I love the idea of posting something positive each day. Mine is that it's a beautiful sunny morning, and the cicadas are humming and the butterflies are flying around my butterfly bush. So I actually started taking pictures again and feeling that the world can be a beautiful place.....Jodes

That is wonderful Tilly,

You were releasing some endorphines in your body.  That is good.  Hope that you are able to do this more often.

That is wonderful Li,

It was a wonderful day here, not too hot.  It looks like rain now, but we need it.

I slept today and so did my dog.  There goes my sleep for tonight.

Today I made it through my work wihout feeling the need to take my xanax. And I came home to my beautiful new wife and step-daughter.

We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

I am getting ready to go and pick more blackberries. We have picked twelve gallons so far. Hope to get a couple more today. The last time my hb went, he saw a bear. We have black bear around here. The bear saw him and took off running. I was glad for that. I just took one of my dogs for a walk and saw coyote poop in the road. They are coming in and eating choke cherries. I could tell by the poop.LOL

Have a great day you guys,

luv and hugs, Karen

Went to my cardiologist yesterday and all my stress and heart tests are normal!  I am so relieved. What a weight off my mind.  So looks like my problem is lung related and hope to get that cleared up soon too.  Just wanted to share the good news

Ok Peeps, it is time to get this thread rolling again, with  all the tough news on the Tele and in the papers we need more then ever to recognize the good stuff.

My good stuff today..........My daughter made a homemade apple pie with apples from her yard, yum it was good.

I am switching meds and today is the first day I did not wake up and feel sad.  No tears...............who hooooooo.

Fall is definitely in the air.  I love fall the the color of the leaves.

The new season has started for my favorite TV shows................

Your turn, share the good stuff, big or small.

Hugs

It was cold today so I decided to bake. I made a pork loin roast, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy and for salad we had avocado with home grown tomotoes. That is a huge accomplishment for me, I barely cook anymore. So that was good.

I went to a friends house this afternoon and visited for about three hours. That was another biggie for me too. I was so glad that I got out.

Tomorrow I hope to go for a walk with a couple of friends. I do have to push myself to do these things, but I feel so good when I do.

Who's next?

Hugs, Karen
