i have been on wellbutrin for the past 8 months. my doctor has suggested that i go off wellbutrin for a month (i need to get a blood test re-checked and he thinks that the wellbutrin is messing with my enzyme readings). anyway, he put my on lexapro and i am EXHAUSTED. i am so groggy and tired all the time--is this normal?
Thanks!!

Katie,

The most frequent side effects reported with Lexapro are nausea, insomnia, problems with :openLinkAndSetcookies(); href="http://www.lexapro.com/resources/glossary/terms_q-s.aspx"> prolonged drowsiness or sleepiness., increased sweating, fatigue, decreased libido,

Patients taking Lexapro typically have mild to moderate side effects which tend to go away with continued treatment.
So the answer to your question, yes Lexapro can cause your sx.

Take care
