sad&desperate,

Welcome to HealingWell and I am sorry to hear you depression is keeping your from feeling happy and content.

One to One therapy is the best way to work through your depression.  Also, are you on and medications?

There is an online therapy that is free and it may seem a little easy when you first start working through the program but keep at it.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts
cause our feelings and behaviors, not external things, like people, situations, and events. The benefit of this fact is that we can change the way we think to feel / act better even if the situation does not change. This is also know as CBT therapy.

Hey there, looking at your list I am wondering about the Tramadol.  I used that med for awhle and had weird sx on it.  I just did not feel normal and I think it was reacting with my antidepressant.

Something to talk with your PCP about.

Your welcome for the link.

Can you write down what you feel like you do here and then give it to your partner to read? You seem to express yourself quite well here on the forum so maybe a letter would be the thing to do. That way you can get your feelings across. Something to think about. I can't talk very well to people that I care about. So I write letters and give them to them, or make a card. It really helps.

best wishes for a wonderful day.

Hugs, Karen

Perhaps now is the opportunity to give him the letters.  It is your decision of course.

On the Tramadol if you are used to it and have been taking it along time then it is probably not causing your sx.
