Hi my friends,

I think that this has been discussed at one point or another.  But have you ever felt really good and it scared you?  I keep feeling like something bad is going to happen because I am feeling too darn good.

I know that it is something to do with not feeling good for such a long period of time, but I just want to enjoy my good day to the fullest.  But it is hard to relax with it.

The weather is wonderful, my husband and his friend are outside working on our house and cranking up the Eagles.  I couldn't ask for a better day.  I took a walk with my dogs and it was wonderful.  They were good so there was no problems at all.  I even saw somebody that I haven't seen in ages.

Does anybody else ever go through something like this?  I hope that I am not the only one.  But I am going to keep trying to relax and go with the day.  Wish me luck.

Hugs, Karen

Hi Karen,  I too have felt that way before.  Sometimes it's hard to believe you are feeling good and having a great day. Like maybe it's too good to be true.  I think the best thing to do is just to go with your good feelings and be thankful for the wonderful day you had.  And sometimes the most simple of things makes us happy.  Feel good about yourself, you do so much for others you deserve to feel good.  And don't forget there are other good days ahead for you as well. Take good care.

Many hugs,

Aurora

Hi Aurora,

Thank you. That is so sweet. I am going to go with it, it has been a good day so far. And it is almost over. I am so happy to have had such a wonderful day. And I hope you do too.

You are so sweet Aurora, and you always know the right thing to say.

Hugs, Karen

Being bipolar, I'm always cautious when I feel real good....for me, its usually a sign of a manic episode or rapid cycling.

I can understand why you would feel that way Lorainne. Mine is kind of like I might feel too good and be myself. Then people might not like me. Do you ever feel that way? But nothing bad happened today so I guess I was panicing for nothing. I am glad that it went good though. I did try to relax and go with the flow.

Bye,
Karen

Hi Karen,

I feel like that too at the minute, I worry that my happiness is fragile & that it will all come crashing down - but the more I worry the less I am enjoying the moment. So I guess we need to relax & not worry about what might not happen!!

Li and Jane,

I am feeling good again today. The sun is coming up and it is suppose to be like yesterday. I hope to bake an apple pie. We shall see.

Thanks for your sweet replies. Yesterday went good, nothing bad happened, so maybe today will be the same. Thanks for your posts.

Luv and hugs, Karen

Karen,

That is awesome, revel in that feeling of goodness, let all your worries and doubts go trick or treating tonight so you know you will have a wonderful day.

I hope the kindness you've given to others returns many times to you.

A bushel of hugs to you on this Fall day.

Love,
Kitt

Kitt,

Never expected two good days in a row, but it looks like it is going to happen. I baked an apple pie today and it turned out good. Plus I got in my daily walk. Everybody was so friendly because of the weather. I think the weather plays a huge part in how we feel.

Heej Karen!

I think most of us have that awkward gut-feeling ever so often. When things are going well, but somehow they shouldn't. When I have such a gut feeling when I am actually feeling rather good, I always say to myself I aren't feeling real good, else the gut feeling wouldn't be there, I wouldn't be anxious or worried (still with me? :-) ). But I find it is actually rather easy to "get in the moment" and stop that feeling when you are already feeling rather good. The change is just a bit more subtle when you are already feeling good, at least, it feels that way.

But I am really glad to hear you are doing good at the moment! darn, you must be a professional pie baker by now, you always seems to be busy making and baking them :-).

As you already know, try to make the best out of the good days, the sunny days in fall that give the trees that wonderful red and orange and yellow colours. It is only a small step to turn a good day into a superb day, a day free of worries and problems. When you are in a positive mood, things always seem to work out just right, something worth taking advantage.

You know my thoughts are with you Karen, and I hope you enjoy today as if it was all there is! :-)

I know exactly what youre saying.

I know it's strange to think, but when things are a little off and hectic and abnormal in my life is when it feels "normal" to me.
whenever I feel optimistic, I don't feel right. Whenever I'm lucky or things seem to be turning around or getting better it just doesn't seem right.
I get that feeling too like things are getting better, but it can't be for long. something bad is bound to result from this spurt of well being.

I just accept it and hope nothing bad happens!

I think we are so conditioned to having bad thngs happen or to be sad, that we don't know what to think when things are good.

I am happy to report that yesterday was another good day. Let's see what today holds.

I hope all of you have a great day!

Hugs, Karen...
