Hi everyone,

It's been almost a month since I've last talked to the ex, and while this has been one of the most stressful and emotionally draining months of my life, I'm finally at the point where I'm not going crazy without talking to him! It's amazing how much more valuable my experiences are with my other friends. I think before, I wasn't fully engaged in other social activities with other people because I knew I could look forward to talking to him at the end of the day. So while I've been missing him so very much this month, this week I have actually been able to go to bed without feeling sad, scared or empty. I think this is because I've been forcing myself to be more social and meet new people. I'm confident that as more time goes on, I'll be able to miss him less and less and build up my other friendships more and more.

So since I'm finally starting to feel better mentally and emotionally, I wanted to share my goal about how I'm going to attempt completing this healing process by doing things that make me feel better physically. This means stopping all the woe-is-me comfort food stress eating and really focus on getting back to my exercise routine of proper cardio and resistance training. Thanks for letting me share this with you, as I feel that telling you my goal will help me in achieving it.

Lost half of my small intestine.Ilieostomy for 5 months then reverst,Nerve damage to right leg,part of my right hip bone removed,Cronic pain,hernia,infection in my back called discites,and depression.Mother to 9 kids 7 boys 2 girls and 1 stepson.4 grandsons,9 grandaughters.4 of my grandkids I inherited from my twin sister who passed away 6 1/2 years ago from a blood clot after surgery.God has given me my life back after I almost lost it.Even though its a painful and sometimes hard road to walk I take it one step at a time and give thanks to god for every step I take.

Awesome! I think you set a really good and achievable goal. I hope you will be able to put it into action!

Hey NightWish,

That is great that you are feeling happier & moving forwards. I think that this has probably been one of your worst months, so it makes sense that things are going to start getting better & better!!

Excersising is good for making you feel good anyway, I try & go to the gym a couple of times a week aswell. |Sometimes it's hard to motivate myself to go, but I always feel better when I have!

It does make a difference when sometime passes and you start to accept that only you can really make the changes and set goals in your life.
