I know that I am not being consistant with the roll calls, so if I don't post one and anybody thinks of something interesting to talk about, feel free to do so and post it.

I have noticed that everybody seems more depressed this time of year.  And there was a very good post on the effects of shorter days and what we would naturally do to get ready for winter, such as sleep more and eat more, being our bodies want to hybernate.

My question today is how much do you sleep?  I could sleep 24/7 at this point.  But I have to get up and do things, but I sleep about 12 hours a night.  So let me know how your sleep is right now.  This could become a fun topic.

Have a great day,
Hugs, Karen

Hi Karen,  I seem to ony get about 6 hrs of sleep.  Not because I don't want to sleep longer but my new asthma med gives me insomnia and then the dog wakes me up early to go out and then eat. I think he must have a stomach clock.  Then he goes back to sleep.  I try to go back to sleep if I have time but if I have to get going I can't.  I usually doze off while trying to watch the national news before dinner.  Sometimes take a nap but then I wake up so groggy and then really have trouble falling asleep at night.  Hope the insomnia will disappear as I take the med longer.

I've been having really bad insomnia here lately, so I was up till about 3, woke up about 4 times, then finally got out of bed at around 10:30. I feel so tired by the time my daughter goes to sleep, but I just can't make myself doze off. I can't wait for spring. :)

Have you been dx with depression?

Hi Worm,

I am so glad that you have found us. You must be exhausted with a nine month old and a three year old. I hope that you get some energy soon.

Hey Kitt,

No worries, we have been doing fine. I am glad that you got to see your sister.

luv and hugs, Karen
