Hello everybody,

Again, I am late with the roll call.  But better late than never I guess.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful day.  Being it is Monday, that isn't always so.  But we do the best that we can, right?

I was thinking about years and years ago when I got my first car.  It was a boat, a Pontiac Catalina, but it was such a good car.  And rode so smoothly.  My cousin gave it to me.

I was just wondering what was your first car that you ever got.  Do you remember good times with it?  I think it is something that stays in our minds like a first love.  Just curious.

Have a great day,

Hugs, Karen

ahhh my first car. it was a 2000 ford focus, and i loved it so much i named it 'carrie'. and yes, the memories accompanying it were the best in my life. i have been thinking of getting the same car, maybe a year older. it would bring back a lot of good thoughts. i have never fallen in love with another car besides carrie.

That is pretty cool. I think I called my car Bessy. It lasted a long time. Especially for a hand me down. First my uncle had it, then my cousin, then me. When it finally croked, we still sold the engine. They made cars better way back then. I think it was a 72.

My first car was a Ford convertible, blue and brand new.  I did have to share it with my sister.  It was in 1963.  I thought I was the "cats pajamas."  Now you can really tell I am of the "slightly older generation!"

My first car was a silver 1993 Ford Mustang. I loved that car, but the transmission died and I couldn't replace it. I miss that car. :(
