How to go to work when most of my energy already used up to fight depression and disturbing thoughts and memories?

I cant even sleep well at night although i do sleep. I wake up few times during sleep but luckily can fall back to sleep after a struggling few minutes with some of my thoughts and feelings.

Therefore i dont have much energy to go work....any advice?

I find that work is a good way to get away from my depression, immersing myself in planning & strategising, totally taking my mind of things. Though I don't have any trouble with sleep. Have you spoke to your doctor about some medication to help you with that?

Welcome to HealingWell. I am sorry you have no energy.

Have you had a complete health check up with your physician lately. Perhaps there is a  physical reason for your sx.  Do you take meds and have you ever  been to therapy to deal with the depression?

Just a few ideas.

Keep on posting.
