Heej!

There was no roll call for today so I thought to come up with something. But my inspiration failed me :-).

So, I haven't been around for a week or so, so this question might be a duplicate. I am going to take a shower now, and if I could choose I would go for a long and hot shower. The thing is that it would be horrible for my skin, since it can't stand hot water, or even water in general. It will get itchy and will even create little wounds. Though it isn't like I am falling apart or something, it is barely visible.

So, I think I'd go for the short and cold shower. What kind of showers do you prefer?

Have nice day :)!

Erik,

I can't take hot showers either so I take warm ones. I don't think I could handle cold showers because I don't like to be cold and wet.

Just a nice relaxing warm shower.

Good topic, and thank you for covering for me.

I would take a warm shower.  Don't like very hot water.  Erik have you thought about using lotion on your skin to help with dryness and itching? There are many that are hypo allergenic. Also there is oatmeal soap which is very calming and soothing on your skin. Also there are body washes that have emollients that moisturize your skin. Just a few suggestions.

I like a nice semi hot shower on my back as it relieves the stress and helps with my low back pain.

Hugs to all and be well.

Aurora, thanks for the tip :). I do use hypo-allergenic lotions, and my skin thing is perfectly treatable with the creams and lotions I have. The only thing is that it also happens to be on my head, and I can't put lotion there, since my hair is in place (going bald is NOT an option!). So I still have to take showers with care.

I hope you all have a nice afternoon!

Hi Erik, didn't mean to intrude on anything personal.  I am glad you have something to help you.  It is also nice to hear from you again.  How is school going?  I imagine you will have a vacation coming up soon so you will hopefully have time to relax and just take it easy.  Will you go home to your family for the holidays?  Stay well and if you feel like it do post.  I always enjoy hearing from you. You are a very special person.

Many hugs,

Aurora

Heej Aurora,

Sorry, I totally missed your reply. You didn't intrude on anything, so no worries :-). And about school, I actually had the first really enjoyable day today. It was awesome, we got some lectures on pain and depression, plus a pain border test and a chat with a person who was in what I think the deepest depression possible, but got out. Positivity just blazed off him.
And yes, I will go home to my family in the holidays. They come to pick me up the weekend before Christmas, because I want to take my keyboard with me. I wouldn't survive two weeks without :-). I am looking forward to it, still need a break.

And how are you doing? Have there been memorable events during the time that I was away, or just small laughs?

Sorry again for not replying earlier!

Take care Aurora!
Erik
