That is a normal part of depression. When I am depressed I have more fatigue. And the littlest things are so hard to do. I also have fibromyalgia. So I take adderall and it helps me throughout the day. You might want to talk to your doctor and tell them that you have fatigue, they might give you another type of antidepressant (if you take them) that can give you some energy. I understand that wellbutrin is good for energy.

Sometimes getting out into the fresh air helps. Try a short walk, even if it is just for five minutes. You would be suprised how that can help.

Hugs, Karen

Hello and welcome to HealingWell. I have low motiviation and am in the same situation........what to do.

My physician will not prescribe any thing but SSRI/SSNIs and some mood stabilizers.  Very few benzo and sleeping meds only the new ones with no narcotic.

As we all know it is hard to find a new P-doc as they are scarce.

Force yourself to get outside and do some exercise daily.

I know easier said then down.

Stick with us.

Again Welcome.
