yeah  I MADE IT THROUGH THANKSGIVING

     HI getting by   VIEW IMAGE

        Well,I make it throght the Thanksgiving Holiday,and I did go over to my daughters house for most of the day.There were not as many people there as she had expected.That was fine with me.It was a little on the lonely side.My husband had eye surgery on the 25th and he stayed over with my daughter,from the day of his surgery to Thanksgiving Day,but with all of the grand kids and our great son,he did not fair to well,as he had a constand headach that he could not get rid of,so he stayed up stairs most of the time laying down.I don't blame him for that,but I just sat in the dining room at the table,and guarded the goodies,Ha! Ha!.I had a couple of snackes before dinner,but not that much.My daughter is a great cook,but neither my husband or I ate that much.We brought our dessert home with us.My younger son,had saw that his father was not feeling all that great,so he asked his wife to take us home early,which I thought was very nice.He in turn took my handicap son back down to Baltimore,MD. were he lives.My husband was glad to get back to his own home.We were home about 8:00pm.
        I guess I am in a better mood now.While my husband was gone,I cleaned house really good and put up my Christmas Tree and decorated the whole inside of my house.That helped me to keep my mind off of my husband surgery,which was the 25th of this month (November).Now I am ready for Christmas.My shopping is down,my decorations are up,both inside and outside.The only thing that I still feel bad about is,I can not buy my husband any Christmas gifts,because I do not have the money.But I did tell him that I would take him out to Dinner the first of the year,to a resturant of his choice,and then maybe to a movie after if he felt like it.I don't know what else to do.He has all kinds of credit cards to many places,and does not need any clothes,and no place to hang or put and thing that I buy him to show off.He is not hard to please,so I hope that I will be doing the right thing.
        Well that is all for now.I just wanted to let you know that I made it throught Thanksgiving.I hope that all of you had a great Thanksgiving.We all have a lot to be thankful for.We are all still on this earth,even with all of our problems.All of you have got me this far,and for that I want to thank each and every one of you
        I hope that all of you have a great Holiday Season.
        Thanks for reading,and listening to me as well as responding to my cry for help.
                                    Hugs and Prays

Hi Sandy,

It sounds like you had a very nice Thanksgiving. For that I am so happy. Ours was nice too. We got to see the grandkids. My granddaughter (who will be four in February) wanted me to sit by her and I spent the day playing with her. Yes, you are right, we really do have a lot to be thankful for.

Things are going okay. I got all of my Christmas wreaths done for the season. If somebody wants one, they will have to get somewhere else. I don't think my husband wants to go back into the swamps to get more greens. He got me a lot, but I used them all.

I hope that you are feeling well. And I hope that your husband is feeling better with his eye surgery. It probably takes a while to get use to that.

Good deal on getting your decorations up. Here I make wreaths and never save one for myself. I do have one swag left that I am thinking about putting up. There was a lady who wanted one, but don't know if she still does.

Take care, enjoy your day. I am going to kick back and relax.

Hugs, Karen

Dear Sandy, thank you for such a warm and upbeat post. I only ask that you come spend a day with me, I need to hire a motivator.

I actually love Christmas and I am so proud of you for all you have done.

I hope your husband is doing well and by Christmas he will be able to enjoy the festivities.

My wish for you is peace and Happiness.

Hugs

Kitt

yeah  DEAR KITT;
       If we did not live so far a part,I would love to come over and get you  Motavated,and started with your Christmas decorating.I love to decorate,and always have.I guess that is why Christmas is my favorite time of the year.My husband tell me every year,that I should hire myself out to help others decorate,as he thinks I do a really great job at it.I inherited the decorating  part from my mother.I guess you have to have the right decorations to decorate with.I still have decorations that I had from my first marriage way back in 1967.They are still in good shape.I actually have enough to decorate to trees and two rooms.If my family was actually completed,I would decorate down there as well,but it is not done yet,so it will have to wait.
       My depression is what got me motavated to decorate.I knew that I had to clean my house,and I was a lone as my husband was over to my daughters,where he stayed after his eye surgery,until I brought him home Thanksgiving Day.So I figured,if I am going to clean really good than why not put the Christmas Tree up at the same time,and clean up my mess as I went along.It took me two days,but I was determined to get it down.You too,can do it if really want to.
       I too,hope that he will be feeling up to par,as far as enjoying the festivities that go a long with Christmas.My family usually gets together a someones house Christmas morning to have a small brunch like and exchange gifts.As well as celebrate my oler grand daughters bithday,which falls on Christmas Eve,and now her son,(our great son),who's birthday falls on the 27th of December.My younger son has a birthday on the 12th,of December.It may be held here at my place this year.Maybe just juice,coffee,other drinks and donuts.Can't afford to go all out this year.My older grand daughter will be 23,her son will be 1 year,and my younger son will be 33.Maybe I will have me hubby fix some kind of a danish if he feels like it and make it like a birthday cake for the three of them.
       You can get into the mood,just keep reading my forum e-mails over and over and you will get there.The season goes by to fast to wait to long to put the Christmas Tree and the decoration up.If you wait to long,you will not have time to really enjoy them.You have been there for me,as well as Karen,so for me,write me a few days and let me know that you have decorated and you are in the Christmas mood.I will look forward to hearing from you between now and next weekend,telling me that you have got motivated,by what I have said.After all,I am the one that is supposed to be down and have no energy.
        I hope to hear from you soon.Take care

Hi kitt;
   Could it be in the forum itself as to why you can not get the pictures up?The last forum I sent to Karen,I also tried to send her some Chritmas i-cons,but it would not let them go through.I thought that was strange,that is why I am asking if it could be the forum,and the way it is set up.I am new to this,but it is just a thought.I would love to see them if you can get them up.

                                                                                        Thank you

I bumped up the pictures, the thread is "Karen's wreaths". Check it out. I was able to post a picture once before, so I know that it is me, not the forum. I saw your icons, are they smileys? They are so cute. I just clicked on "view image". So check out my wreaths. They have red berries in them, but they are hard to see.

Luv and hugs,
Karen

Oh yes I am so happy that you got your Christmas decorations up. You are doing so much better now. I am so happy for you.

Hi Karen and Kitt;

   I was able to view the wreaths and they are really beautiful.How much are they selling for,if you don't mind me asking?I would love to have one,but it would probably get ruined in transit,by the time it got to me.Maybe as it gets a little closer to Christmas they will start selling.
   It also looks like she has a cute place to live.What abouts does Kitt live?and where to you live Karen?I saw the Icicles hanging off of the roof.It must really be cold there.I am going to try and same the pictures of the wreaths if I can.
    Thanks again for sharing them with me.They really are beautiful.

                                             I hope that the both of you have a great Christmas
                                                                                           Thank You

Hi Sandy,

I live in Michigan where we are just starting to get a winter storm. The winds are just starting to pick up and it is snowing. This has been the coldest November that we have had in a long time. In fact we had some record lows this month.

I made those wreaths for the local animal shelter to sell. They made 400.00 on them. I am all out and my husband doesn't want to go back in the swamp to get more greens. So I guess that I wont be making anymore. Just when December starts, I am done. But in a way I am glad, I am kind of tired from the work. I have fibromyalgia and can't do a lot. But something game me the energy to get done what I did. Otherwise, I would love to send wreaths out. But I guess it will have to wait until next time around. Sorry.

The building that the wreaths are hanging on is my art shop. It use to be a restaurant when I was a little girl. The other building is my house. I don't know if you can see it, but there is a cement block building and that use to be an old time sauna. We use to build a fire in a barrel stove covered with rocks and pour cold water on the rocks to make the steam. Then we would take a steam bath. I was really young then. It was truly something.

I am so happy that you got to see the pictures.

Have a wonderful evening.

Hugs, Karen
