I'm not sure what your situation is, but I hope that you are ok.  I guess that life is tiring at times and sometimes it is hard, but it's temporary, keep going and fighting and I'm sure that things will get better soon,

I hope that someone else will be around soon who maybe knows more of your situation and can be more helpful, but I just wanted to you know that I am here!

tryingtogetby,

Someone call my friend and tell them i am tired of this life. i want to be erased from the world.

I am so sorry your feeling so bad, have you thought of picking up the phone and calling some to ask them fro help.  They do not know your feelings if you don't share.

You have to take steps towards feeling well and if you have a good day and it slips the next day know that happens to each of us.  You are not alone. You are right in the middle of a huge family of members with anxiety.

If you need professional help, please call

NDMDA Depression Hotline | Support Group. 800-826-3632

Keep talking to us but tell us something meaningful so we can help you.

Gentle Hugs

Dear Eli, Karen and Kitt have given you some very good advice and phone numbers and websites to look up.  I am sorry you didn't make it to the DBSA meeting.  I truly believe they can give you help.  We cannot call your friends for you.  Do you have a therapist?  Do you have family near you who can help you or call a friend for you?  If not I would suggest you call one of the hotline numbers to get help.  It is anonymous and they have trained people who will listen to you and try to help you.  You just need to take a few small steps and those may lead to the help you need.  You also need to work with your dr. on getting you the right meds.  It make take several tries - I told you it took 6 meds before I got on the right one.  I don't know where I would be if years ago I hadn't had a good therapist and psych dr. for my meds.  I don't know how I could have felt any lower in life at that time but I decided to fight it and get help.  We are all here to support you and give advice if we can. As I have said before I will always be glad to answer your posts.  I wish I could give you a shoulder to lean on. Take care of yourself and keep posting.

Gentle hugs,

Aurora

Hi Eli,

I really think that we all go through this from time to time. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow of things and sometimes you need to push yourself a little and get out of the house. The more you stay in, the easier it gets to stay there. So you need to decide if you are going to be homebound or if you are going to get out of the house.

You have a support group coming up tomorrow. I really think that you should go and sit and listen and see what others are going through. I think that you will be able to relate with them. This is a very stressful time of year and everybody is sinking. We have to pull eachother out of the pit. But we also have to scootch ourselves a little too. So please go to the support group, or call a friend and get yourself moving around some.

I hope that you can get yourself to go tomorrow. We will definately be waiting to hear how things went.

Hugs,
Karen

Heej Eli,

Even when you are feeling down, there are always things that can make you happy. Always. Maybe you could try to figure out what would make you happy. Try to write down every single thing that might bring you (or in the past brought you) happiness. I am sure there are still things that you enjoy doing.

I don't know who said that, but death is irreversible (as far as I know). So if there is anything you still enjoy doing (which there is if you try to find it!), you should do that. There won't be an opportunity after death.

Eli, please know that we care about you, very much. If it was possible I would fly over to where ever you live and give you a big hug.

Take care Eli!
Erik

I am depressed too. It's not unusual for me - sometimes I think I'm ALWAYS
depressed. It's worse in December.
Trying2: I hope you feel better today. This is the month that everyone is
supposed to be so jolly and surrounded by happy family. You know?
I wonder if that has anything to do with your feelings at this time.
