I had a topic all picked out for today, then I forgot it.  Fibrofog is the culprit.

Last night I went to visit a friend.  When I left it was so cold.  She told me to warm up the car before I left, but I didn't.  I just jumped in and was on my merry way.  But by the time I got home, I was freezing.  My muscles were so tense from the cold and it took a few hours to feel warm again.  I am in so much pain today, that it isn't even funny.

So I guess my question fo the day is going to be.  What is your favorite season and your least favorite.  My favorite is autumn.  And my least favorite is winter.  I like autumn because it isn't too hot.  You can work outside comfortably and go for walks.  Summer gets too hot for me to walk my dogs.  But I still like it better than winter.  If I can get myself to cross country ski this winter, I will feel warmer.  And also be more active.  But it is getting started that is the problem.  Any suggestions on that?  I can ski right out my back yard and hit the snowmobile trails.  Just don't like to do it on weekends because of the snowmobilers.

So again, what is your favorite season and your least favorite?

Best wishes for a wonderful day.

Luv and hugs, Karen

Good Morning All,

My favorite season has always been fall, with the changing colors of the leaves and the temperature being perfect, not to hot, but not yet cold.

I love to hear the breeze rustling the crisp leaves on the Maple tree outside my bedroom window while I sleep.

Winter, like you Karen, I am a freeze baby. My car has heated seats and I am so happy with them.  Driving in snowstorms with white outs is scary for me and I pray all the way...........you may not want to ride with me in a snowstorm. turn

Happy Sunday all.

Hugs

Kitt

Heej!

Just a quick reply to let you all know I am still alive, just very busy. My favourite season is spring, with all the new green, I like how everything is "reborn". My least favourite has to be winter, since in Holland a winter is cold and wet. Most of the time it is near freezing point, so wet snow and rain, no ice or anything fun.

Take care!
Erik

My favorite season is the Fall when it is in the low to mid 70's and there is low humidity.  I love the change of colors.  A great time to go out and walk.  I also like the Spring when the tulips, daffodils, lilacs, crab apples and flowering trees all bloom.  But where I am in the Midwest the Spring is very short because it just doesn't warm up until about May.  Then, wham! It's boiling hot and humid.  Don't really like Summer much at all. But prefer the heat to the ice snow and cold of a true Midwest winter as many of you must know. We "mature gals" have to worry about falling on the ice. And I really don't like wearing boots but there isn't any other choice. Maybe we will get one of those more mild winters this year. lol, it is in the single digits here today.

It was in the single digits here today too. Around 8 degrees. When the sun come out the thermometer went up, but it was windy so I don't think that it felt any warmer.

I have been aching all day. And still am. Hopefully will be better tomorrow. I hate winter here in Northern Michigan.

Hugs, Karen

Summer is my favorite and winter is the worse.I think that most people with cronic pain like the heat of summer best and both people with cronic pain and people with depression all dislike winter for diffrent reasons.Since I have both I really hate winter.
Lost half of my small intestineJan.2008.Ilieostomy for 5 months then reverst in June 2008,Nerve damage to right leg, part of my right hip bone removed Jan. 2008,Cronic pain, hernia, infection in my back called discites, and depression.Gallbladder removed Nov,2008.Mother to 9 kids 7 boys 2 girls and 1 stepson.4 grandsons,9 grandaughters.4 of my grandkids I inherited from my twin sister who passed away 6 1/2 years ago from a blood clot after surgery.God has given me my life back after I almost lost it.Even though its a painful and sometimes hard road to walk I take it one step at a time and give thanks to god for every step I take.

I love the summer, I love the sun!! Tho we didn't get much here in England this year. I like to be able to spend time outside and I just feel better in the summer & I really don't like the winter, I hate the cold & the frost & I really don't like that it is dark all the time!!

By reading all this I think we should team up and form a party to ban winter :-). Or maybe we could change the dark nights into a starlit Christmas-like time, with snowflakes gently wiggling down, a white blanket that covers everything, and frozen lakes so you can skate for as far as you can see!
