Good Morning Everybody, It is a new day so lets get it rollin :-) Today is 12/12/08.  Chrismas is coming fast.

I often think back to my childhood and remember who influenced me the most when I was growing up.

The person that I thought was the best person on earth was my Grandmother as she raised me for 3 years.  She took me home when I was 18 months old and my Dad lived with us too.  She work hard with very little and every day she would sit in her rocking chair and pray. She always had powdered sugar donuts just for me.  turn
She was the kindess lady I ever knew.............she earned her wings here on earth. I was a very lucky little girl.
Hugs
Kitt

Kitt,

You are making this really hard. There are so many bug influences on my life. Of course the obvious parent's, my sister and brother. I can't tell which of them was the biggest influence.

Have a wonderful day!

Hmmmm...

I think the main influence in my life is my Mum. She is so lovely. In the summer when my Dad died, I learned a new side of her - because she is just so so strong & such a special person. I feel that I aspire to be like her I think and I also hope that she is proud of me in some ways!

The other person who I feel has been an influence is my Grandmother, (my Dad's mum) she died about 3 years ago I think & she was really old, like 98 or something. She had such an interesting life, she was born in Ireland (out in the wildest country) in 1906, and she endured so much throughout life, she travelled to England when she was about 17, pregnant & alone, she had to give the baby for adoption (but found her again, only about 9 years ago) and that was just the beginning! she wasn't the warmest of people & she wasn't even that nice sometimes - but I just had so so much respect for her

The biggest influence on my life is my mom....I've always had a close relationship with her and it grew even more when I hit my teen years....Now as a adult we are mother and daughter but also women who are friends......She has always been my rock....the wind beneath my wings.....and my best friend. She has never judged me....has always been there for me through thick and thin....and I don't know who I'd be without her.

The second biggest influence in my life is my son......He's taught me a lot even at just 2yrs old....He's the love of my life....he's funny...cute....and can always make you smile. He's very loving....and he has touched my life in a way that's so special.....I never thought that I could love someone sooo much.....I'll never forget the first time I saw him......He's definately a mamas boy and I'll treasure these young days as much as I can.

Kitt,

This is not easy for me. I can't think of any one person that is my inspiration. But I would say that life in general inspires me. There are many people that have been my inspiration at different times. But like I said, life itself inspires me.

Luv and hugs, Karen

The person who most influenced my life was my grandmother.  She was the kindest most compassionate person I have ever known.  My mother was very abusive, but my grandparents lived with us so I always had my dear sweet grandma to go to when the times were rough. I still miss her terribly even though she departed this life in 1963.  I know that if I go to heaven that my grandma will be the one to take my hand and lead me up with her.

For me, its got to be my mum. I have (like a lot of people) quite a close relationship with her so in a way she is my mum & my best friend
Everyone has a guardian angel. They help pick you up when you fall, comfort you through your times of need and help you appreciate the times when things are going well.
