Good Evening and it is late..............

I would like to ask your opinion if you want to continue the chat schedule into the 2009 calendar.

I know sometimes we have good turn outs and then again I am not sure how you all feel.  This is your chat session for Depression.

Please comment here.  Thank you so much for you responses.
Gentle Hugs to all

I really enjoy the chats but often I go on and there is no one there. Or I sign on when others are on but then there are no responses.  I hope we can keep up the chats, I think we need to think of a way to improve the time.  And also, to include everyone who signs on to chat.

I was in chat this Tuesday, and it was good as always. Maybe you could tighten up the hours again, so 2 instead of 4, so there is a bigger chance of people actually being in chat. It is too bad some can't join every week, but at least there is a smaller chance of missing others.

But you decide! :-)

I logged on chat Tuesday and there was nobody in there so I hung out for a while. Then I forgot I was online. Then I had to go somewhere and I remembered I was in chat. There were four or five others on, but I didn't have time to chat. Sorry. I think that we should keep it. I really enjoy talking to the other people.

Erik, I know you have the biggest time difference.........what hours work for you and also for others in that same time frame.

Let me know.  I wil be glad to work with it.

I think that we should keep the same time frame. It helped for those who couldn't come on before we expanded it. Just my 2 cents worth.

I'd prefer it if chat was a bit earlier in the day, as I can very rarely make it, however i'm not sure how that would work for others?

hm...I think we should try to get more members to join in. That way, it is more likely that someone will be on. I prefer longer hours because that gives everyone a chance to join in. I know for me, when we first started and it was 2 hours, I couldnt make it because I was at school and didnt have access to a computer. Although, now I am almost always in the chat room because I have a computer the whole 4 hours! So, more than likely I will at least be on!

But, its hard to catch people because only a select few join in. We should try to get more members involved somehow. The more people logging on at different times, the greater the chance that there will be people there. Also, we should make it known that if you go to log on and no one is there, go anyways, because it someone else sees that a person is there they are more likely to join in!

Just my opinion(s)! =]

Great opinions :-)

I always encourage members to post if they are in the chat room as usually a few more pop in when they see that.

I feel we need to maintain our 4 hour time block to cover as many as we can and I know this does not work for all but at this time it seems to be the concensus of the members who have posted.

Any ideas on how to get members to join chat?

Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Hi Adyady,

Welcome to HealingWell.

There is a scheduled chat schedule time posted on the thread called Chat Tuesday.  It has different time zones posted too.  So I hope that you can join in.

My appointment was canceled, so I hope to see you all in chat.

Hugs, Karen
