I just wanted to say thanks for everyone who ever bothered to respond to, or even read my posts. But I'm leaving the forums. I'm too depressed and upset to do anything anymore, I just want everything to be done with. I've been thinking about quitting therapy, too. It's just not working out.
I think I need to just find my own way in life and learn to deal with people on my own. No one, no therapist, no one here, just no one..can help me on this one
So thanks everyone. Good luck to everyone who's having problems and goodbye.

I really hope you don't leave the forum. I understand the feeling I really do. I have been dealing with drug resistant depression and anxiety for my entire life. I don't get any benefit from seeing therapists. I only go because if I don't they will take my meds away and I will withdraw. It sucks. Sometimes therapy is not the only answer. I don't know what to say except I really hope you stay here. I read here sometimes but only post occasionally.

Of course this is your decision, but I have to say "please stay with us". Even if you don't post for a while, don't give up on the forum. Everybody here has been where you are. Where nothing seems to be working. But you are coming to the light and soon you will see that. It is always darkest before the dawn. So if you want to take a break, do so, but try not to stay away completely. Others benefit from your advice. And you are always there to help. So maybe you could pop in and give advice once in a while.

Either way I support you.

Hugs, Karen

Hey BTE,

I understand how you feel but consider just a bit of time away from the forum and remember we are here.

Sometimes reading all the problems of others you start to feel depressed coming here but remember people without depression are not on this forum.

Take a break and relax a bit, know you are safe and we care.

Gentle Hugs

I also want to say that you should take a break, I took a break from this forum for over a year and came back. also not working with your therapist may be a bad idea too, you may take a break from them too but not isolate your self completly.

if you want try talking to a real friend of yours, it helps too.

btw I don't read all threads and all posts, just maybe a few every week and I vent out a little here and there when I feel like it.

but the decision is yours I respect that, I wish you luck take care :) remember your always welcome here if you changed your mind...

Please do not leave here. I understand that sometimes you feel that nothing is working for you. I get that feeling too. I am a very sensitive person and alot of times I feel others do not care. I have a friend who I can talk to. How long have you been with your therapist? Maybe you need to find another one. I was lucky that I hit it off with my first one. She has retired so had to find someone else. I tried several and finally found one I like. Same thing with a pdoc. I finally found one I really liked and stayed with her for like 2 years until she sort of turned on me and made me feel worthless. I never went back after going in one day to pick up some samples she was giving me. I never had any problem before but she came out to say I was taking money out of her pocket because she could be seeing patients. I walked out in tears. I found another one who I like. Plus the one I had been seeing had misdiagnosed me and had me on so many meds. I am on alot less now and feel so much better.
