Hi Everybody,

I just had to write that I am feeling exceptionally good today.  The sun is shining, it isn't really cold out and I am getting ready to start a batch of spaghetti sauce.

We have had so many cloudy and cold days that it is making for a terribly hard winter.  So seeing the sun is like a miracle happening.  In fact it is in my eyes right now, but I don't want to complain about it.

I have a couple of movies to watch later so there will be plenty of things to keep my mind busy.  One is Indiana Jones and the other one is step brothers.  So I know that they will both be entertaining.

I hope that you all are having a good day too.  I just had to write and broadcast how good I feel.  I hope that it lasts a while.

Hugs, Karen

I have to go to therapy after school, which I am enjoying because I feel like I am doing something good! And I have to study for a Calculus test. I have to do good on it, Im not doing good at all in there, it is SO hard.... And I have to see a friend who is taking my baby boy Nolan to Florida for Christmas ot see her family. So, I wont get to see her or him, I was looking forward to babysitting him over the break. But, tomorrow is our last day of school! Then, we wont come back until like Jan 4...or whatever the first Monday is... I am SO excited for Christmas, I cant wait!!!!

I am feeling pretty good today also! lol Im just in such a good mood and I wish I could go out and do so much, but time wont allow it! haha..oh, and Im supposed to babysit tonight...wow, goodness! lol Volunteer Saturday(and NO bringing animals home again! lol), therapy and Christmas party Monday, Birmingham(3 hour trip with m dad) to see a Pediatric Rheumy(been waiting over 6 months to see him)... then Christmas Eve and Day!! Such a BUSY BUSY time! And Im not doen Christmas shopping! =0

Well, I would keep talking if I could, Im just in such a good mood! But, I will stop here! Take Care!

I'm glad that both of you are feeling good! Isn't it nice to just "feel" good once in a while? And since you started this thread I figured that I would share that I'm feeling better too. I think it's because I know that I have things in place for myself. My son started daycare tuesday, it makes me feel good knowing that he's having fun and being around other kids. It also makes me feel good to have the break and alone time. I also just have it in my mind that this new year will be a good one. To focus on my life and get better. To tackle the depression and be the person I can be. I have my appt to get on meds jan 9th! It's weird because I've just been feeling that I'm ready to embrace getting better and having the life I want. I've been thinking like "I'm not going to live this next year like I have the past 3yrs". So cheers and enjoy it while we can!

Hi Hope and Christi,

It is nice to hear both of your perspectives on life right now. I hope we all feel good for a long time to come. If not, at least I had this one day. I will remember it.

Take care,
Karen

Kitt,

Did you say that you might start effexor? It seems that I read that in a post of yours. I take it and it helps me, I take abilify with it though and that has really helped me a lot.

I hope that weaning off your med works for you.

Hi Karen, I am so glad you had such a good day.  They seem to come so few and far between sometimes.  My day was fine, just very busy trying to get everything ready for Xmas.  It seems so hectic.  I am looking forward to Xmas Eve when I will be alone and can just relax and enjoy my tree and all my decorations.  We all have to be grateful for the things we have as so many people are not in such good shape. Take care and I hope you have many more good days filled with sunshine.

Hugs,

Aurora

Karen!

That is fantastic to hear! Sorry If I'm a bit too late with my reaction, I hope you are still doing fine! Those good spirits tend to linger a bit, not disappear in an instant. I hope you experience something similar as well. It is almost Christmas, something that might do good to many of us. Karen, what are you going to make for Christmas, as I assume you will make something. You always seem to be busy with cooking :).

Christi, Kitt, Aurora and Hope, it is wonderful to hear that you are feeling good as well. Times can be tough, but I think Christmas is a time of celebration, and with all the caring people around, we should take full advantage of that devil.

Time for lunch now, have a wonderful day!
