Merry Christmas Eve Day to all,

There is a subject that I want to touch on today.

Last year at this time I was a member of the forum and was posting and/or reading every day.  There was a lot of depression going on at that time.  The stress of the holidays seemed over whelming.  This year, there seems to be a lot less depression.  While thinking about that I remembered that Kitt started a thread on ways to beat the holiday stress.  It seems like ever since then the members have been quite optimistic about this holiday season.

I want to acknowledge Kitt for starting that thread and keeping us a step ahead of the stress.  I think that we have all inspired eachother and helped eachother get through the beginning of the holiday season.

So Kitt, thank you for posting the thread and for helping to keep all of our spirits up.  I hope that you have the most wonderful Christmas.

I will most likely post something tomorrow, though a lot of you will be with family and friends.  Just know that I am thinking about all of you.  And I wish you all a happy holiday.

By the way, what are you having for dinner tomorrow?  We are having ham.  I love the sweet potatoes.

Hugs, Karen

Dear Family and especially Karen,

You have molded together this past year as a family.  You are closer to each other and you have found ways to ward off depression and help others to do the same.  You have accepted your depression and therefore you have identified ways ahead of time to take care of yourselves and the holiday blues have all been sent to New Orleans...............lol

My gift to all of you is this magnificent Christmas Tree.

Thank ou Karen for the kind hearted words. It is Ham for us too.............. idea

Merry Christmas

Luvs to all,

Kitt

Im a born and bred vegetarian- so christmas dinner is a liitle unconventional! we have a vege lasagne, stirfry, 'gluten steaks' (sounds nasty, taste great) and lots and lots of naughty dessert!

Merry christmas, and here's to a better new year for us all!]

Justed wanted to say thank you to all who have supported me so far the brief time I've been on the forum; it's great to have this "family" that understands and is so supportive, again thank you. Dinner for us is tonight and the list is long...ham, fried turkey, roast chicken, cornbread dressing, gravy, mashed potates, white peas, green bean casserole, corn pudding and many desserts!

Wishing everyone a very Joyous and Merry Christmas!
