Hi Eli, I know how you feel.  I am having a really rough day.  My Xmas was anything but pleasant. I am so glad it is over.  I wish there was an easy answer to getting out of bad feelings but I guess we just have to struggle and do the best we can and hope tomorrow will be better.  I am thinking of you and I hope as the day goes on you will start to get better.  I was all set to go out and do some things and my car wouldn't start, so I'm sitting here waiting for the mechanic.  Post again if you want and I will answer you.  Take care Eli, you are a good person and you have had some good successes.

Many hugs,

Aurora

I am not feeling my best either. I have some kind of a bug or a chest cold or something. I just feel really crappy. There is always an emptiness when the holiday is over I think. I think that it comes from all of the excitement of the events that take place. So I think it is normal to feel a little down. But we will together get over it. We will just have to keep encouraging eachother. I think that will help.

Hugs, Karen

i just got back from the library, I went to borrow some books. I feel a little better, but still a little blue. I am looking forward to tomorrow though, as I have my regular Saturday group thing. Im also happy that my state disability as been processed. i can now buy people late xmas presents, and maybe buy my dogs some extra treats. i also need new jeans, as ive gained some weight on the zyprexa and im having a hard time fitting into my jeans and pants. im not complaining though, the zyprexa has been a blessing med for me. it keeps my head quiet and is keeping me sane.

I'm thinking of you guys too, karen and aurora, hope you are staying well.

You sound like me when it comes to your dogs, as I am sure Aurora can appreciate that too. She is a dog lover also. I went to town today and had to make sure to get my dogs something special. They deserve it, they are such good companions.

I am glad that you are enjoying group Eli. Keep up the good work. I think it is great when we can be around people who understand what we are going through.

I am glad that your disability got processed. That is really important. You deserve to have the help.

I hope that you have a good evening.

Hugs, Karen

Eli, I am very happy for you that you got your disability.  And how nice of you to think of others and especially your furry friends.  I think a dog can be the best friend ever.  They only love us and don't judge.  I am glad you are going to your group.  That is always a comfort and support.  Karen, I am sorry you are not feeling well. A chest cold can be so uncomfortable.  I always drink a lot of hot tea with honey and that seems to be soothing.  I was on my way to the pet store today when my car wouldn't start.  I was going to buy my baby some treats.  I'm glad I have some Zukes which he loves so he won't feel deprived tonight after his last walk. Hopefully my son will take me to the pet store tomorrow if only the weather isn't too bad to get out.  We are supposed to have a lot of rain, flooding and fog.  Yesterday it was in the single digits and everything is solid ice. And of course now that it is warming up the water underneath the ice is melting and has no place to go but inside the house - great, a ruined paint job. Well, I shouldn't complain, it could be so much worse.  How about we fast forward to April!

Hugs to you all,

Aurora

Eli,

Let us hope tomorrow will be your day in the sunshine.  I know you can move closer toward the light.
