Good Saturday to everybody.

I know that this is late, I have been suffering from a nasty cold the last few days, not sure, it might be the flu.

The question that I want to ask today is what makes you feel peaceful?  I know that music does it for me a lot.  Or when I am out walking my dogs on a quiet day.  Or just sitting here at my computer when it is quiet.  I guess that quietness and music makes me feel peaceful.

Some of us might feel peaceful after accomplishing a task that we were maybe stressing about.  Or in the morning when everybody else is still in bed and you are the only one up.

Let me know, we can share these tips on how to feel peaceful and good about ourselves.

There was no thinking on my part to come up with this topic, my brain has a cold and I can't think too far ahead.  I just want to go back to bed and get rest.

Luv and hugs, Karen

I know some of you may think this is so not me.........but sitting in the quiet of a beautiful church just telling myself I am OK, I have no worries I am just here in this moment in this pew.  I am in good hands.

Kitt, You have hit the nail on the head for me.  I find great peace when I go back to my old childhood church and look at the beatiful stained glass windows and the wood work.  I look at the pews up front where the choir would sit and remember their beautiful voices.  Sometimes it just gives me peace when I drive past the church, just to see it.  By the way, many of you might know what this church looks like.  It was the church used in the filming of the movie "Home Alone." The first one made.

When do I feel peaceful? When its a nice day outside, mid-temperature, brisk wind, arms open wide, walking my puppy, around sundown, my head tilted upward looking at the first big star resting beyond a beautifully painted sky, and feeling like I dont have a worry in the world....when I know I have a reason to live and that I have made it thru SO much and I am Okay now...

I feel peaceful knowing that I am better now and that I will be okay.

Looking back, that seems to be a good description of what peace feels like for me...
