Why would you do such a thing? I think it would be a good idea if you called your doctor or went to the hospital to get your stomache pumped.

I don't know anything about lamictal, but I know that you could get really sick, and or die. I don't know. But you better tell somebody.

Hugs, Karen

Here are some numbers and sites you might want to visit. I don't know why you took all of the pills, but just in case, check out these sites.

I don't think sherriann took them, it sounds like she just wanted to know......But what's most important here is not your question sherriann, why would you want to know? I take lamictal and I found some info:The symptoms of a Lamictal overdose vary, but can include seizures, coordination problems, irregular heart rhythm, and even loss of life. So you don't want to do what your thinking about doing.

I hope you can seek some help or even call some of the resources gettingby gave you....Theres hope out there honey and we are all here for you if you need to talk....You deserve to feel better and you deserve life! Please know this!

I missread her post. I thought that she already took them. I am relieved to know that she didn't. Thanks for correcting that.

Hugs, Karen

SherriAnn,
I hope you are still around please come back and keep talking .There are so many in here who understand a lot of what we are feeling as most of us have been in a similar situation .
It`s not the answer if anything only makes life worse .
I contemplated things on many occassions but with the great support from everyone in here i didn`t give into it .
Many years ago i did and believe me what i went through was not something you would want .
Take care and come back and keep on talking .

Hi SherriAnn,

Lamictal is a very specific drug to choose... are you epileptic by any chance? If it is epilepsy you are stuggling with then I may be able to relate to you on another level as I am the moderator for epilepsy as well.

SherriAnn,

I know the answer but what I would really like to know from you ..........are you asking because you are looking for a plan to hurt yourself?

If you are then I want you to use the numbers that Karen provided.
If your on this medication it should be used exactly as prescribed by your physician.

Your post question was "If I have thirty 100 mg tablets of lamictal and took them all at once would I die????"

I know that is not a prescribed dose so why the quesiton and again please seek help immediately if you are having thoughts of harming yourself.

We are here to help you but please remember we are not professionals.

Gentle Hugs to you
Kitt

Thank you for all of your support.  I am still feeling very very depressed but not suicidal, My anxiety is horrible I can't even go into a store i can't think straight i can't do anything i used to be able to do just fine.  Is this depression causing this??? I'm so confused and scared im scared to death to live my life and i dont know how to get back on my feet again.  It's like i have to learn to relive my entire life again i just want my life back to normal.  I feel so out of wack is this what happens with depression is it normal to feel like this??

Hi SherriAnne,

I honestly think that you have a lot of anxiety going on right now, and it is putting you in a state of panic. Try to relax and practice some deep breathing... In through the nose and out through the mouth. It is kind of like smelling the roses and blowing out the candles. Practice that.

Have you checked out the Anxiety/Panic forum? You might find it interesting to read on there. There are also a lot of wonderful members who are super kind and understanding. So that is something you might want to consider. If not that is cool, we love to have you here with us.

You have to control your thinking. Learn to take life one day at a time. Do not worry about the future, it will unfold as it should. Have faith in that. That doesn't mean to let things go that need to be done, but to not worry about what is coming up in the future.

Relaxation is important. Do you know how to meditate? That is something that you should practice. It gives you a sense of control over your life. Even if it is for a few minutes. You get a break from the stress. Focus on your breathing. That is the most important part of meditation. Breathing is something you do involintarily and constantly. By focussing on that, you aren't thinking of other things, you find your center.

Best wishes, I hope that you feel better.

Hugs, Karen

I don't know the answer and I suggest you don't try.
I am sorry you are in such a dark place. We are not to talk about suicide on this forum. That being said. I have posted some help information for you. Obviously you want help or you would not have posted.
