In Fairbanks, Alaska it is illegal for a moose to walk on the side walk. This dates back to the early days if the town when the owner of the bar had a pet moose that he used to get drunk. The moose would then stumble around the town drunk. The only way the law makers could prevent this from happining was to create the law so the moose could not cross the sidewalk and get into the bar.

Wow, these are some amazing facts. I think that the actresse's name was Billy Burke. I had the same last name when I was single. A moose isn't allowed to actually get drunk in Fairbanks. That is the law they should have made, that is cute Kitt.

You guys have a good night.

Somebody gave us this book it was called something like 'uncle john's amazing facts'. It was kind of like the guiness book of world records and was for reading in the bathroom. Well in it there was an instance where a jail inmate ran for sheriff. The funny thing was, it happened in the same county where I live. about 10 miles away. What a trip.

    Those were great................ turn

    The Presidential Oath -

The oath is taken with a hand upon a Bible, opened to a passage of the president-elect's choice. Each president has chosen a different passage. Theodore Roosevelt's 1901 oath was the only one not sworn in on a Bible.
